Director of Sales and Marketing full-time

The Royal Glenora Club, a private sport & social club in Edmonton, is looking for a full time Director of Sales and Marketing.  This position consists of outside sales, gathering leads, enrolling new members and generating new event business.  This position is responsible for creating, managing and fostering relationships with potential new club members, local and national corporations and professional associations.

Job duties include:

• Helps develop strategic plans to increase total membership sales & revenue
• Actively seek out new business prospects
• Organizes and attends weekly sales calls for lead & sales generation
• Follows up with current members for referral business
• Creates business to business relationships to drive membership sales
• Responsible for Marketing of Member events
• Create new business through New Member Networking Events
• Attend key events in/out of Club plus trade shows
• Continually foster new/current city & community relationships
• Help create and manage new sales material
• Work in conjunction with the PR/Marketing team
• Achieve quarterly & annual sales goals with maintaining a minimum of 20 prospects and 60 leads per week
• Create a strong social media presence with the Membership
• Liaise with all Media Outlets for any opportunities on property or off

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years Membership Sales preferably in an upscale country club setting
• Must have outside sales experience
• Must be willing to sell business to business
• You will have excellent interpersonal, organizational skills including being very detailed and being a team player
• You must be proficient in large group presentations
• This position will require you to travel within the City of Edmonton and surrounding areas
