Director, Community Giving and Donor Relations
Reporting to The Executive Vice President, Foundation and based out of the Calgary base, the Director, Community Giving and Donor Relations is accountable for managing the achievement of the Foundation’s annual fund revenue requirements through the execution of a comprehensive, best practice annual fundraising program. This includes direct mail, monthly giving, online giving, memorial/tribute giving, electronic giving and other solicitation channels that may be identified.
This individual will also be responsible for the leadership and coordination of the Foundation’s donor relations functions.
With a degree in business with concentration in marketing communications and post graduate education and development in database marketing, the following experience is required, to be considered for this position;
- 7 – 10 years progressive fund development experience including at least 3 years at a Director of Development level, with a demonstrated record of success in all aspects of annual program fundraising, or
- 7 – 10 years multi-channel marketing experience in a consumer retail or packaged goods environment with demonstrated success in all aspects of customer relationship management
