Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for establishment and management of Siemens brand reputation programs within Canada
  • Responsible for the implementation of executive relationship programs designed to profile Siemens senior executive CEO/CFO team based on established value proposition and key messages

  • Responsible for the Sector Communications providing governance and guidance

  • Communications consultant, Communications coordination & Communications interface to Sector HQ and other clusters/countries

  • Responsible for the management and review of external agencies contracted to assist with marcom programs related to public/media relations and brand reputation programs

  • Responsible for the online marketing strategy for the overall company

  • Designs implements and manages communications strategies and supporting programs for assigned areas within the organization

  • Designs implements leads and measures the most complex communication programs that support the company's business strategy

  • Leads the administration of policies governing the dissemination of public information

  • Develops and manages departmental budgets and communication plans

  • Has substantial latitude to develop policies/programs for area of responsibility or products and to forecast their impact

  • Analyzes effectiveness of policies/products and establishes future direction for functional policies and programs or products that affect company as a whole

  • Aligns policies/products and development efforts with company strategies - Identifies resource needs with significant influence on approval of identified needs

  • Troubleshoots and resolves most complex problems within multi-departments and/or cross functional areas - Determines organizational structures and supervisory relationship

  • Responsible for overall success of function or project within multi-departments and/or cross

  • Responsible for crisis communications control and monitoring functional areas

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or advanced degree

  • National experience in a complex and large organization ideal

  • B2B expertise with online campaign experience

  • Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts practices and procedures for communications and marketing communications and strong knowledge of other areas in the company and how they interact

  • Demonstrates full understanding and application of management approaches for work direction motivation and performance management

  • 10 years of successful experience required

  • Typically manages multiple level employees and/or other managers

  • Direction of a unit with varied activities and objectives or guidance of a sub-functions or several important elements across several organizational units
    Bilingual is preferred
