Job Summary
Assists with Web projects and publishing for the CBRE Web platforms using the publishing software – Content Management Systems (CMS) and SharePoint 2010. Oversees and maintains any web application integrations in conjunction with IT Web Development teams.  Works closely with Sr. Digital Marketing Manager for strategic content development and site enhancements as well as creation of new independent digital web properties using HTML5 and other CMS/web publishing platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the company client extranet site, creates new page sets, dedicated landing pages, communicates new functionality with the field and acts as a liaison between local publishers and national marketing.

    • Focus on national level service line pages, team pages, special event pages and custom project pages

    • Will also be creating HTML or Wordpress Microsites.

  • Monitors and approves content for www.cbre.ca to ensure quality and consistency across our corporate Web site.

    • Development and communication of best practices to web publishers and enforcing CBRE global standards.

    • Optimization of pages for performance and conversion to lead optin / capture.

    • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals to rand and optimize content.

  • Support of Canadian offices in recommending and implementation of web strategies for their local market areas.

  • Provides technical guidance and/or training to the Canadian web publisher community.

    • Including ongoing documentation and reference materials.

  • Assists with web content creation and overall web strategy.

  • Assists with web analytics and metrics reporting.

  • Assists with management and maintenance of the Canadian intranet presence.

    • Includes “navigator” and Sharepoint, Sitecore.

  • Assists with the online training program for all web applications.

  • Assists with digital marketing team administrative responsibilities when necessary.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.  Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a work unit and/or project.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (BA) and minimum 1-2 years of experience in website development role.
Strong background in HTML5 and CSS
Strong background with Wordpress (Sitecore and Drupal and asset)
Working experience with Microsoft Sharepoint
Working experience with jQuery and Javascript
Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices including but not limited to:

  • Email autoresponder systems, Google web analytics, conversion rate optimization, split testing, creation of visitor funnels and tracking, SEO, fundamentals of paid media / PPC.

Marketing focused web graphic design skills an asset (Adobe Creative Suite, creating interactive maps, rollover states, html/css animations)
Live working examples of previous web projects mandatory
