Digital Marketing Coordinator - 1 Year Term Contract

We are currently recruiting for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join the Marketing Team in Calgary, for a 1-year term.  Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, the successful candidate will coordinate, design and produce all digital and traditional marketing materials while maintaining the integrity of the brand.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Support planning and execution of Spartan’s marketing communications strategy
  • Design and create traditional marketing materials such as powerpoint templates, brochures and other customer facing documents
  • Manage the flow of website information, optimize digital content and track conversion rates
  • Provide advice, support and guidance to internal business units, stakeholders and management
  • Build and maintain digital asset and video library
  • Keep current with emerging technologies and creative digital trends

Qualifications and Skills

  • Post-secondary degree in Marketing, Communications or Multimedia/Graphic Design
  • 3-5 years of traditional and digital content development
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office skills
  • Knowledge of print and digital production processes
  • Strong proficiency in photo/video editing and publishing
  • Extensive skills in HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge of SEO, SEM and understanding of web analytics
  • Confident communicator with meticulous attention to detail
  • Organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Ability to work well with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial work ethic
