We are currently looking for a Creative Merchandise Artist to join our Design & Merchandising team.  Reporting to the Director of Design and Merchandising, the successful candidate must have the ability to envision new ideas and translate them into concepts to support product and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Director of Design and Merchandising to translate creative ideas into concepts  to support product & marketing  initiatives such as inspiration, color and trend boards, line & brand development, sales meetings, sales presentations, customer presentations, product positioning for catalogue and product launches
• Create technical & fashion sketches
• Develop color cads
• Create  concept, mood, inspiration, color and trend story boards
• Organize product related sales and marketing materials
• Create PowerPoint presentations
• Produce patterns for fabrics

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Diploma in Fashion industry from an accredited institute
• Minimum of  5 years work experience with design and garment background
• High level of complex creative thinking
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Highly proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design
• Ability to change direction and approach midstream when needed or as required
• Detail oriented
