This position is responsible for overseeing timely (often time sensitive) updates of content for company websites, social accounts and corporate intranets in conjunction with clients’ established organizational goals and objectives. The Community Manager will work closely with colleagues to support client brand mandate and messaging, and to execute tightly integrated and coordinated communications efforts.


  • Content creation (copy writing, image creation when required), execution, moderation, collecting insights reports, community analysis
  • Works with brand strategists and creative team to envision the right approach to building a brand’s social presence
  • Plans, develops and project manages integrated communications programs and initiatives to support business growth, brand awareness, and customer engagement and education
  • Creates engaging content in all media formats to effectively create awareness, position clients’ brands and brand values, educate consumers about the benefits of clients’ products/services, and enhance the customer experience
  • Develops standards, systems, and best practices for content projects
  • Defines key success factors, channels, messaging and strategies
  • Monitors discussions, postings and trends within the community. Identify and report on trends, work with appropriate staff to answer questions, manage negative sentiment, and advise others of potential opportunities
  • Supports customers, fans, partners, and influencers via social listening, sharing and engagement across all social platforms
  • Develops content for clients’ web, blog, email communications and social pages based on key learnings

Professional Skills & Requirements

  • 2-4 years experience in a social media role or environment
  • Highly active in the digital and social spaces
  • Experienced and effective communicator with an ability to build strong, valuable, and lasting relationships
  • Comprehensive understanding of popular social platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.), including their allowances and limitations
  • Experienced at using various types of social media based tools – whether schedulers or analytic based tools (Ex: Sprout Social, HootSuite, Google Analytics, Sysomos, Radian6, ComScore , Omniture Site Catalys)
  • Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task; able to set up and simultaneously manage multiple accounts
