Communications Consultant & Web Coordinator full-time
The Ministry of Government Relations’ Communication Branch is looking for a communications consultant with experience in the following areas:
- website management
- communications related writing (speeches, news releases, event plans, etc.)
- strategic communications planning
- media relations
- issues management.
This position will primarily focus on communications and media relations, as well as management of the ministry’s web presence and key applications. Knowledge of the Sitecore content management system and Saskatchewa.ca would be an asset.
We are looking for a team player who is professional, well-organized, detail and goal-oriented. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required in order to develop and maintain positive work relationships with stakeholders, colleagues and co‑workers.
Typically, the knowledge required for this position would be obtained through a degree in Journalism, Public Relations/Communications, or a post-secondary program in a related field of study combined with several years of direct experience. This is a permanent fulltime position based in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Occasional travel may be required.
