Communications Consultant full-time
The Ministry of Government Relations’ Communication Branch is looking for a communications consultant with experience in the following areas:
- communications related writing (speeches, news releases, media advisories, etc.)
- strategic communications planning
- media relations
- issues management
We are looking for a team player who is professional, well-organized as well as detail and goal-oriented.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required in order to develop and maintain positive work relationships with stakeholders, colleagues and coworkers.
While this position will primarily focus on communications and media relations, experience with social media, website management, the Sitecore content management system and Saskatchewa.ca would be an asset.
Typically, the knowledge required for this position would be obtained through a degree in Journalism, Public Relations/Communications, or a post-secondary program in a related field of study combined with several years of direct experience.
