We’re hiring an experienced business development manager to join our growth team.

We are seeking a business development professional with exceptional analytical, creative, lead generation, and tactical marketing skills.

You will be a key member of our growth and marketing team, responsible for connecting with influencers, setting up promotions through them, and growing our customer base.

You are an ambitious growth and acquisition focused marketer, excited to join a motivated growth team. You’ll work on things like influencer outreach and partnerships, webinars, managing affiliates, and implementing innovative co-marketing campaigns that you’ve championed.

Prior experience acquiring customers through digital marketing is absolutely required; passion for education/training &/or freelance passive revenue generation would be a big plus.

A typical weekly to-do list might include tasks like:

  • Meet with the growth and marketing teams Monday morning to plan out weekly growth experiments, upcoming feature releases, and campaigns that need influencer involvement.
  • Research and connect with new influencers
  • Build a pipeline of partners who will help promote Thinkific to their audiences
  • Coordinate with influencers and partners to launch new promotional campaigns
  • Spend a morning helping out customers (like every member of our team does!) to stay close to customers and learn all of the intricacies of our system

As a part of our marketing team, this business development role is an important part of our growth strategy.

Ultimately, your goal will be to help the team meet our growth targets each month – by partnering with influencers and acquiring new customers.

Here are a few hints that you might be the person we’re looking for:

  • You’re excited to be part of a culture of continuous optimization and iterative testing.
  • You’ve demonstrated success with managing influencers, partners, and affiliates.
  • You’ve already created your own online course (bonus points if you’ve used Thinkific!) Relating to and understanding our clientele is valuable. If you’ve created your own online course, you already know exactly how our customers think (and how we can find more of them.)
  • You’re not afraid to send out cold emails and build relationships with influencers.
  • You love data, and believe strongly in data-driven decision making.
  • You are passionate about digital marketing, business growth and sales. We are building our own company by helping thousands of entrepreneurs around the globe build theirs. It doesn’t get more rewarding than this!
  • You like getting on the phone.
  • You like organizing events (online and offline) and coordinating with multiple people.
  • You’re constantly thinking outside the box, coming up with creative ways to reach new people.
