Fresh Direct Produce Ltd. is seeking exceptional sales management talent for our Calgary team. As our Business Development Manager, you will be working closely with and reporting to our Director of Sales and be an integral part of our management team and decision-making.
BDM Responsibilities Include:
- Leading our team towards company goals - sustaining positive customer relationships, acquiring new customers, efficient service operations, and meeting Calgary sales targets
- Building market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships in the Prairie provinces
- Locating potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities

- Produce experience with strong connections and relationships within the produce industry
- Coaching and mentoring experience
- Outstanding needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing skills
- Tactical and strategic thinker to develop new effective sales initiatives to enhance current strategies
- Results oriented with keen interest in the success of our customers
- Ability to develop and execute pursuit plans, budgets and financial forecasts
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, effective conflict resolution skills
