Position summary:
Reporting to the VP Marketing, you will develop and execute the public relations, advertising and promotional plans for the organization.
Responsibilities:
This role will
Manage all marketing communications activities for the company, which may include; press releases, direct mail campaigns, data sheets, brochures, advertisements, channel collateral, online advertising (including SEO), and website branding/updates. Activities can include organizing industry association events for both the company and channel partners, product launches and market research.
Manage and direct the public relations function for the company, which includes establishing and maintaining all media relationships and collateral development and pitching.
Develop and execute channel marketing strategies in cooperation with the Channel VP.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have the following:
Marketing and/or Public Relations degree or equivalent from a recognized university
5-7 years experience, preferably in a B2B IT company
Technical marketing skills, including web-based applications, and comfort with non-MS environments
Proven experience in customer and market research
Strong verbal and communication skills
Ability to:
multi-task and prioritize in competing priority situations.

build strong partnerships both internally and externally
