About the Opportunity

We are looking for a multi-disciplinary Art Director to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to make your mark in a relatively new and exciting area of business. Through your creative work, you will positively impact people’s careers and work culture. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients in a variety of industries, crafting brand expression at various touch points from print to digital. As Art Director, you will oversee the creative and activations for the Employee Value Propositions (EVPs) that we develop for clients while also working on external branding initiatives to promote Blu Ivy Group. Your creativity and “out-of-the-box” thinking will shine as you develop creative concepts, and your insatiable curiosity and desire to learn will push our company forward, helping us reach new milestones with our business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop Employee Value Proposition (EVP) communications for effective storytelling

  • Develop visuals to bring brands to life

  • Create impactful copywriting

  • Design original digital content

  • Develop effective out-of-home (OOH) creative

  • Develop internal and external activation strategies for clients to communicate/share employer brands in innovative ways with both internal and external talent

  • Participate in strategy, planning and brainstorm meetings as required; listen and value the opinions of others

  • Work closely with Project Managers to prioritize work appropriately, establish scope of work, coordinate resources, create project timelines and ensure on-time delivery


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Minimum one (1) year related agency or freelance experience

  • Strong understanding of design and its components: design and design systems, copywriting and content strategy

  • Exceptional verbal and written skills; excellent at storytelling

  • Ability to articulate and persuasively sell creative concepts

  • Ability to think outside of the box and generate a lot of ideas (concepts and designs)

  • Comfortable working across a variety of mediums – digital (career websites), social and print media

  • Outstanding work ethic and sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and effectively

  • Strong multi-tasking skills; proven ability to juggle multiple projects and clients with competing deadlines

  • Team player & strong collaborator

  • Disciplined self-starter

  • Proven ability to source, lead and manage a team of creative specialists
