Having recently launched the Auto Audience Network™ (AAN), a targeted automotive ad network with historically unprecedented results, we are looking for a driven, results-oriented Sales professional to further this growth. You will directly contribute to the healthy growth by calling on our exceptional group of Direct (car dealerships) and Reseller customers selling the AAN. Working alongside the Marketing team, your primary responsibilities include quality lead generation, opportunity creation, and deal completion.

Key Accountability

Business Development

Supporting Tasks

  • Maintain a high volume of activity including outbound calls, emails, web conference and other avenues in a transactional environment
  • Research, identify and tenaciously generate weekly new opportunities via cold calling and other means
  • Work with VP of Sales & Marketing to devise strategies and plans to grow sales, add new customers and detail how targets will be measured and achieved
  • Help prospective customers throughout North America understand the value of SSM’s products and services through inbound and outbound phone calls/emails and face-to-face presentations as appropriate
  • Exceed monthly and quarterly sales quota through new accounts and business development

  • Participate in and facilitate monthly analytics reporting meetings between key accounts and members from the Digital Media Campaign Management team
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and directly them to the appropriate department/individual to ensure satisfactory resolution
  • Collaborate with other members of the Sales team and the Digital Media Campaign team to deliver superior services to all clients

Supporting Tasks

  • Attend industry events and conferences throughout North America
  • Produce monthly and ad-hoc reports as requested by management team
  • Provide sales update and share knowledge with other team members during weekly sales meetings
  • Complete mandatory training (internal and external) from time to time
  • Record sales activities and update statuses in CRM



  • 3+ proven years of sales experience with demonstrated success in selling digital advertising, including display advertising
  • Experience using CRM systems, preferably HubSpot


  • Degree in Business/Commerce or comparable Sales and Marketing diplomas highly preferred
  • Experience selling to, or managing, retail automotive clients, advertising agencies and automotive publishers
  • Training in consultative / value based selling


  • Demonstrated ability to exceed individual and collective goals/ objectives with creativity, integrity and reliability
  • Ability to grasp new concepts in their entirety and articulate their merits to customers
  • Extraordinary time management skills, capable of filling available time with prospecting activities in the Canadian and US markets
  • Thrive on change while remaining highly organized, optimistic and coachable
  • A drive for continuous professional and personal growth
  • Demonstrated competence with workstation and business application use
  • Proven reputation of developing trusted and effective ad solutions while maintaining long lasting customer relationships through exceptional customer services.
