Reporting to the User Experience Manager, the UX Architect is able to produce efficient and effective solutions based on complex requirements. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.
Key responsibilities
- Produce and maintain a constantly-evolving UX asset library; including personas, experience maps, mental models, process diagrams, annotated wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes
- Maintain content libraries and matrices for several websites, email programs and, web applications and mobile apps
- Collaborate with the UX team to incorporate architecture, design, marketing and product requirements into all deliverables
- Work with key stakeholders to rationalize solutions and be a champion for effective information architecture solutions and UX consistency across products and brands
Mandatory skills & Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in fields related to information design and human computer interaction
- Two or more years of information/UX architecture including web and mobile applications
- Solid understanding of mobile, responsive and adaptive principles related to cross-device experiences
- Excellent wireframe and prototyping skills using Axure, Balsamiq, Omnigraffle, Visio or similar
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies
- Experience applying research and analysis to information architecture, flows and page layouts
- Effective communication skills, both orally and in a variety of written and diagrammatic forms
- Proven creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a remote team
