Job description

Responsibilities:

• Work independently and as part of a cross-functional team to identify needs, prototype interaction and workflows and resolve complex interface challenges, defining the user experience vision for our products
• Advocate user needs throughout the development lifecycle to inspire the engineering team to develop the right product
• Balance business needs and usability and design ideals within a fast-paced software development environment
• Liaise with our internal teams and customers to identify UI friction points
• Develop UI alternatives for consideration
• Collaborate with our software developers to integrate your designs into the codebase
• Validate designs with customers and other stakeholders in order to drive iterative improvements throughout the development lifecycle
• Rapidly acquire new domain and tool knowledge as necessary
• Participate in the creation of new products
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and flexibility to work on a variety of projects as needed

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Interaction Design, Psychology, Human Factors, Industrial Design or related HCI discipline, or demonstrated proficiency and experience in the field of software user experience / interaction design
• A portfolio demonstrating a user-centric approach to user experience design and strong problem solving skills
• Ability to design elegant and engaging user interfaces with a knack for turning complex concepts into simple UIs
• Experience with web design and related technologies
• Self-reliant, used to taking initiative, and great at follow-up
• Knowledge of common graphic design packages in order to produce basic layouts and manipulate images
• Superior attention to detail
• Enthusiasm for new approaches and technology
• Strong time management skills; able to work on multiple projects and complete work within allocated time frames

Required

• Bachelor's Degree
• English: Fluent
