User Experience Specialist full-time

Reporting to the Team Lead – Transactional Websites and User Experience, your main tasks will be:

Analyze

  • Analyze websites, applications and users to identify optimizations and new opportunities
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to research, synthesize and master business rules
  • Identify and analyze business requirements to determine optimal solutions

Design

  • Design optimizations to increase conversion rates and improve user experiences on existing sites
  • Conceive and craft user experiences for new websites and applications
  • Produce wireframes and prototypes and additional user experience deliverables when required

Manage

  • Coordinate with freelance graphic designers, developers and agencies
  • Safeguard the user experience throughout a project’s lifecycle
  • Participate in elaborating enterprise user experience processes and guidelines

As well as to perform any other duties requested by the Team Lead.

Your Skills

  • You are fluent in French and willing to travel to Montreal on a regular basis
  • You are analytical, creative, resourceful and proactive
  • You have strong design skills coupled with uncompromising attention to details
  • You have strong technical skills coupled with ingenious problem solving abilities
  • You keep track of industry trends and can discern those which produce value
  • You have great teamwork skills and can give and receive constructive design criticism
  • You can’t stand inefficiencies and want to optimize the world
  • You’re an expert in the tools of the trade such as Axure, Photoshop, Excel and Visio
  • You’re capable of committing to long haul, year-long projects
  • You possess the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
  • You're empathic and have great people and negotiation skills
  • You have a proven track record of solving challenging problems with innovative strategies
  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, design, e-commerce or related disciplines
