Hey!

Are you obsessed with User Experience? Do you find yourself mentally redesigning every website you visit? Do you dream in wireframes, sitemaps, and flow diagrams? If so, read on!

I’m Mike M., Senior Director of the User Experience (UX) practice here at Klick Health. Our team is responsible for putting (digital) pen to (digital) paper and bringing to life the solutions Klick Health delivers. That means we get inspired by conducting research, working closely with clients, and collaborating with internal teams to create kick-ass digital experiences across websites and mobile apps. Of course we do all this while putting the user first!

I’m looking for an intermediate level UXer to join my team immediately. Under the tutelage of a senior UXer, you’ll help identify our clients’ business objectives and what their users need to get out of the final product. From that process you’ll create sitemaps, detailed wireframes, diagrams, and prototypes – whatever is necessary to communicate the solution and give our clients an awesome experience. You’ll then help see the project through to completion – from creative ideation to development to launch. As opportunities arise, you’ll also get involved in remote and in-person usability testing, card sorting, and other UX-based activities.
While no two projects are alike, we typically work on websites (some are responsive!) with the occasional iPad app and/or web-based application thrown into the mix.

Here’s what I’m looking for:

  • A tangible passion for designing extraordinary experiences from an empathetic angle
  • Strong information architecture and interface/interaction design skills
  • Solid understanding of underlying web technologies and usability principles across desktop, touch, and mobile platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Axure, Visio, or similar prototyping tool
  • Usability testing experience would be an asset
  • HCI training would be an asset
  • 2+ years relevant experience

When you come in to meet with us, I’d love to see some samples of UX work you’ve delivered in the past. I want to hear about your experience with previous UX design challenges and how you overcame them. I want you to tell me about big wins, like that time you wowed the client in person or delivered a great product. I’d also really like to find out more about you – what you love and hate in the agency world.

Think you have what it takes? We move fast so apply quickly.

Thanks for your time!
