As a Social Media Manager, you are responsible to develop a best-in-class social media strategy as well as manage our social communities. You will generate valuable creative concepts adapted to all social platforms and in line with our marketing needs. You will build brand awareness and promote SSENSE designers in order to drive engagement. Reporting to our Director of Public Relations and Social Media, you will manage our voice throughout all social media channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop social media strategies in line with our brand DNA
  • Foster a sense of community around the SSENSE brand in order to engage and captivate current and potential clients
  • Manage the development and execution of all tools and assets in order to support social media initiatives such as blogger outreach strategies
  • Maintain social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, SoundCloud and other relevant platforms
  • Create and deliver weekly performance reports and demonstrate ROI on specific initiatives
  • Recommend innovative social strategies, apps, interactive initiatives and out-of-the-box projects
  • Stay abreast of the latest social media developments

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field
  • 5 years experience in social media and social campaign management, with active participation in community development
  • Deep strategic and technical understanding of global and emerging social platforms, including those used in major international markets
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English; French or additional languages are a key asset
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and measurement tools
  • Exceptional attention to details
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong interest in fashion, design, music and art
