Our client, CROWN Auto Group, is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead their creative marketing team. You will be the driver of the marketing efforts for CROWN Auto Group, reporting directly to the Vice-President of Strategy & Business Development. You will focus strongly on digital marketing with the goal of growing the brand and recognition. As the leader of the marketing team, you will oversee and work directly with all business lines on all aspects of traditional and digital marketing initiatives from inception through delivery and post campaign analysis, and will be responsible for providing all marketing services including traditional, online, and social media initiatives

You Will:

  • Evaluate current brand and business unit marketing plans and strategy

  • Develop, plan, and execute marketing strategy in consultation with the Vice-President of Strategy & Business Development and all business units

  • Lead, manage, mentor, and train the marketing team

  • Integrate digital marketing best practices, promotional marketing, and CRM to ensure a consistent experience and highly effective online/offline campaigns

  • Project manage 3rd party and in house resources for all traditional media (radio and newspaper) including SEO/SEM, email database marketing, social media, display advertising, website design, pay-per-click campaigns, etc.

  • Continuously research and identify trends that optimize spend and performance

  • Create, develop, and analyze reports to assess all campaigns against goals

  • Direct the collection, mining, and analysis of digital data to support sound business decisions. Evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and consumer touch points

  • Evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data on a monthly basis

  • Collaborate with all marketing vendors, dealer partners, and OEM manufacturers in the provision of marketing services

  • Manage and plan monthly marketing budgets

  • Submit all advertising claims to the factory

Skills & Abilities:

  • 6+ years’ of marketing and project management experience coupled with a strong background in digital marketing

  • Post-secondary education majoring in Marketing or a related field

  • Experience managing and supervising a team of marketing professionals

  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing traditional, SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, display advertising & social media campaigns

  • Strong familiarity with digital marketing and social media best practices

  • Highly skilled in executing and optimizing PPC advertising (Google AdWords, Google Display Network, Retargeting, and Bing Ads)

  • Experience with website analytics, Google Analytics, and other reporting statistics

  • HTML, CSS and WordPress skills are considered an asset

  • Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and InDesign strengths are an asset

  • Proven track record managing large marketing budgets

  • Experience in the automotive industry is considered an asset
