Description

Working within our Sales and Marketing division and based out of our Sherbrooke office, the Marketing Content Editor’s primary task is writing original and captivating texts for a wide variety of B2B sales-oriented and marketing communications material. He or she may also help implement the company’s marketing strategies by assisting the team with his or her linguistic expertise.

You will be asked to:

  • Write, revise, correct and translate (French to  English) marketing materials, including web content, promotional emails, various communications, product sheets, press releases, white papers, case studies, articles, etc.
  • Collaborate with head writer to maintain established voice/tone to fit audience, medium, organization, and situation
  • Generate and develop concepts/ideas that will be used and adapted for various marketing materials for product launches
  • Develop and write content for web and multimedia projects
  • Support senior management and other departments in writing and editing documents
  • Ensure that all content material reflects SherWeb’s philosophy, values and quality standards
  • Collaborate with product managers to develop accurate product descriptions
  • Perform all other related tasks based on the needs of the department

You have a background that is similar to this:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Languages or a related field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in writing
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows applications
  • Experience in web marketing is an asset
  • Knowledge and interest in technology is an asset
  • Perfect mastery of both spoken and written English and French is essential

  • Strong writing skills;
  • SEO writing techniques according to the latest Google Webmaster Guidelines
  • Ability to manage several priority projects simultaneously
  • Organized, resourceful and independent
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
