If this sounds like you, we’re looking for a talented Marketing and Content Specialist to collaborate, support and participate in all functions of the Marketing and Ticket Centre Team. The Specialist is primarily responsible for writing and editing, content creation for all owned channels, project management, ad trafficking, website content updates and supporting all print, social and digital marketing campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE:

Marketing and Advertising

  • Coordinate marketing campaigns ensuring they align with our goals and are delivered on time and on budget
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop plans, coordinate assets, manage timelines, and track budgets for marketing initiatives
  • Participate in developing sales packages, promotions, and initiatives to drive our earned revenue through subscriptions, single tickets, retention, and acquisition strategies
  • Oversee in-theatre activations, event marketing and volunteers
  • Support the digital marketing manager with the execution of Google Ads, digital, email, SMS, social and traditional media campaigns as required

  • Identify and steward organizations for group sales and cross promotional opportunities
  • Set up, track and monitor marketing campaigns and appeals in our CRM database, Tessitura

Content Development and Writing

  • Create, collaborate, and oversee the development of content assets including videos, interviews, podcasts, social media content and contests, email, website copy and advertising
  • Increase our content capabilities and create compelling, on brand, audience focused communications
  • Build content and editorial calendars that support marketing and fundraising campaigns
  • Proofread, edit and copywrite for all digital and print channels

Administration

  • Support the ticket centre with sales and data entry as required
  • Track department budget and invoices
  • Archive hard copy and digital materials and information

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years of marketing or communications experience
  • A degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to establish efficient work processes
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strategic thinker, experienced in data driven, audience focused content planning
  • Attention to detail with superior writing and editing skills are essential
  • Strong work ethic and approach life with positivity and professionalism
  • Clear communication skills, extraordinary customer service and enjoy working with the people
  • Ability to adapt to change and prioritize workload and projects
  • Ability to work flexible hours and capacity to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in French, Mandarin or Cantonese will be considered an asset
