IBI Group’s Edmonton, Alberta Office is seeking a full-time Graphics Designer to join its team.
Specializing in the areas of architecture, urban planning, transportation and systems, you will be providing support to staff regionally as well as IBI's national and international offices.

Responsibilities:

•As part of a proposal team, responds to RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, award submittals, roster applications, etc.;
•Assists with preparation, coordination and development of non-technical writing for proposal efforts;
•Editorial oversight, including copy writing and editing of proposals;
•Arranges proposal kick-off meeting with Project Manager and/or Director in charge;
•Pulling project experience and gathering resumes for key personnel;
•Starting proposal graphics such as org charts and schedules;
•Building the proposal template for submission;
•Coordinating team members with: proposal forms, custom resume alterations, contacting subs for additional information etc.;
•Proposal graphics oversight; and
•Proposal page turns and assembly coordination.

• Creating and inserting graphics into a wide variety of Business Development documents
• Ensuring that a high level of professionalism and quality is communicated through layout and the use of visuals
• Developing and enhancing layouts and visual presentations in proposals
• Acting as the 'gatekeeper' of all project photos including: obtaining permissions from clients, photo-editing and enhancing, cropping, sizing and formatting

Qualifications:

•Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Communications, Business, or another related field preferred
•Minimum 3 years related experience in the A/E/C Industry
•Experience managing multiple tight production deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•A passion for document creation and production including the assembly of content and components from multiple sources and an appreciation for content structure and graphic layout
•Comfortable coordinating and motivating multiple contributors, many of whom are senior level individuals
•Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites (CS4/CS5), Database
•Management, and Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
•Excellent writing, editing and grammar skills
•Excellent communication, organization and attention to detail
•Enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic
•Flexibility to work with a variety of personalities
•Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
•Strong team player
