Description:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating design solution that have a high visual impact, convey the brand, and support the design objectives. The role involves acting as a consultant with internal customers to understand their needs.

Their designs are required for a variety of products and activities such as websites, advertising, POP signage, direct mail, books, magazines, posters, products packaging, exhibitions and displays, corporate communications and corporate identity ie. Providing a visual “Brand”.

They develop creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the objectives.

The work demands creative flair, up to date knowledge of industry and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.

Requirements:

•Interpret the business needs and developing a concept to meet the “Brand” objectives and business needs.
•Collaborate with Marketing Team and internal customers to ensure all design work achieves Brand continuity across all communications.
•Estimate the time required to complete the work and providing quotes.
•Develop design briefs by gathering information and data through research.
•Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
•Present finalized ideas and concepts to clients.
•Work with a wide range of media, including photography and computer aided design
•Proofread to produce accurate and high quality work.
•Demonstrate illustrative skills with rough sketches, design artwork and contributing ideas.
•Keep abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly in design programs.
