Graphic Designer full-time
Description :
In collaboration with the Creative team and the Communications Supervisor, participates in the conceptualization and idea generation of creative solutions and adapts these creative solutions to various in-store communication tools to form a convergent and consistent communication platform for internal customers that is in line with the brand personality;
Establish and develop graphic grids, layouts, photographic composition and retouching, typographic treatments, colors, backgrounds, formats, etc. for various in-store communication tools, primarily a seasonal product knowledge magazine;
Executes designs based on direction from Creative team management;
Stays abreast of design and promotional retail trends by reviewing literature, researching web, visiting markets and competition and conducting monthly store visits.
Requirements :
University degree in Graphic Design
One (1) year of pertinent experience (retail branding – an asset)
Extensive knowledge of MAC environment, CS4 (In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Bridge)
Knowledge of PowerPoint and multimedia related software (Flash/Dreamweaver)
Excellent attention to details and precision
Excellent ability to work on multiple projects at once within a proactive working environment
Excellent team player
Bilingualism required (French and English – written and spoken)
