Responsibilities:

Working closely with members of the Marketing & Communications Team, the Graphic Designer will create visual communication solutions that reinforce and enhance Stantec’s brand. The successful candidate will be responsible for projects including promotional print materials, electronic marketing efforts, and multimedia projects. We’re looking for someone who:

• Has superior design capabilities and the ability to apply quality design concepts consistent with Stantec's brand identity
• Has a commitment to quality
• Can show cutting-edge creativity in the production of promotional print materials
• Can effectively oversee projects from beginning to end
• Will ensure all materials/projects are produced to specification on time and on budget
• Is comfortable working from templates and grids when required, and designing new materials within Stantec Brand Guidelines

Qualifications:

• A post-secondary degree in Graphic Design
• 2-3 years of related experience or related agency experience
• Highly proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite software
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively balance priorities
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Strong team player with a great attitude
• Multimedia experience—HTML coding experience an asset
• Experience conducting press checks, and knowledge about sustainable paper and printing techniques
