Graphic Designer full-time

GEC Architecture is a firm of architects, interior designers, and technologists that has been operating in Calgary since 1966. The firm has designed several complex, one-of-a-kind buildings and through this experience has earned an excellent reputation for design.

We currently have an opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join as a key member of our graphics and communications team. The Graphic Designer will assist in preparing proposals, reports and other key marketing material. We offer the opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented studio environment where excellence is cultivated and creativity and innovation are valued. We are looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic, possesses excellent communication skills and can perform in a high energy, deadline orientated environment under minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a 4 year degree in design, visual arts or related field, and an in-depth understanding of the principles and techniques of graphic design, illustration and typographic design. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a must. Knowledge of photography and architecture would be considered an asset.
