Orange door direct is a dynamic and creative studio that specializes in print, direct marketing and brand design. We are currently in need of a graphic designer. We are looking for a designer that understands the power of design and wants to help our clients use it to their competitive advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Fulfill projects from concept to completion (creative design, production and print ready files)
• Play a major role in the development of a project by establishing the conceptual and stylistic direction of the project
• Orchestrate the work of production artists, photographers, illustrators, printers and anyone else who is involved in the development of a project
• Responsible to the creative director
• Production and management of print materials (internal and external)
• Prepare files for digital and offset print production

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in design or comparable work experience
• At least four years related experience
• Highly proficient in Adobe CS5 - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator - Mac
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines with quick turnarounds
• Self-motivated individual who can work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills to work directly with clients
• Organized with attention to detail
• Copywriting and proofreading skills an asset
