Globacore is a creative technology company building digital experiences for physical spaces. We specialize in large format, multi-touch surfaces, game development and unique human computer interactions using both physical and digital elements. Examples of our work include custom made video games for corporate clients, mobile applications for events, and VR experiences for aspiring paperboys. Almost all of our applications are backed by custom content management systems, mobile registration apps, game controllers, links to social media web services, and tailored analytics.

Globacore is looking for a talented, creative, Technical Digital Producer/Project Manager (or in our agile world, a Product Owner.) Who are you? You will have good technical understanding of software development, the ability to help provide ideas for interactive solutions. Your expertise in experiential technologies and new media installations will prove valuable to facilitate communication between your clients and your team to accomplish custom solutions for our clients. You will spearhead projects that will involve installation based room-scale virtually reality experiences, multi-touch walls and tables, gameful event activations, and integrated mobile applications for multi-user augmented reality branded entertainment concepts.

Details are your specialty. You are confident, communicate clearly with your team and clients, taking a consultative approach to building long-lasting relationships. Dedicated to participating in evolving our company process, tools, and products, you possess exceptional organizational skills and are able to think critically in stressful situations, finding solutions to problems and streamlining efficiencies where possible. Having strong leadership qualities with the ability to take and give direction effectively is a strength and makes you a team player who always maintains a positive attitude, keeps calm under pressure, and thrive in our fast-paced work environment.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably BSc or Eng), post-secondary education in New Media and a minimum of 3 years of Digital Producing Experience and a demonstrated Passion for Interactive Media. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in Computer Science, and demonstrated exposure and experience in Development, Design and Project Management

Our perfect candidate will have a certification in Scrum Master Training, Product Owner training and Project Management Designations & Certifications. You will be able to show a portfolio of personal projects in VR / AR / Gaming / Creative Technology (the passion part – remember?) and some professional stuff too…demonstrating a solid understanding of the technology and the full development process and how the design fits in. Experience with Unity3D workflows and with 3D Artwork workflowswould be great too!

We work in agile teams practicing a form of Kanban. Any experience building in an agile workflow is beneficial but not required as we do ongoing agile training on the job. You must thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment in a rapidly growing and successful organization.  We offer a competitive salary (the range starts at $60,000 but we are flexible and we will pay you what you are worth depending upon skills and experience), an amazing work environment, great benefits and wonderful people!
