We are looking for a talented Digital Marketing Director to lead our digital team in our Winnipeg office.

A leader in digital marketing and business solutions, you are an innovator, trendsetter and progressive thinker. You are fluent in current and emerging digital trends and have a proven understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce platforms. You know how to combine client business objectives and online strategies to deliver success in a highly competitive landscape and have worked with interactive, creative content and development teams to fulfill strategy requirements.

We’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of previous experience in a similar digital marketing role
  • University degree, preferably in business or an information technology discipline. Qualified candidates without a university degree but with considerable experience will also be considered
  • Familiarity with digital outbound marketing best practices
  • Experience in outbound digital campaigns, inbound digital campaigns, lead scoring and lead qualifying
  • Proven ability to deliver online sales results
  • Proven experience driving omnichannel strategy
  • Knowledge of the digital medium and the ability to do hands-on work as required
  • Strong interpersonal skills as a team leader with experience managing others
  • Must have a “change agent” attitude, constantly pushing clients to new opportunities, approaches and ideas
  • HubSpot certification and experience is an asset
  • Experience managing paid acquisition campaigns and affiliate programs
  • Solid knowledge of website analytic tools and ability working with e-commerce platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns. Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing AdWords campaigns as well as A/B testing
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

You get to:

  • Lead, teach and coach the agency’s digital marketing program and team members
  • Plan, develop and write strategic digital marketing plans for clients, planning the approach to initiatives including website development, campaigns, search and online advertising campaigns and email marketing programs
  • Integrate and combine best practices from direct marketing, promotional marketing and CRM to provide sound strategic planning for highly-effective, fully-integrated online / offline campaigns
  • Develop online marketing and optimization plans for e-commerce clients
  • Partner with account team to understand client goals and provide a perspective on creative, functional and technical solutions for clients
  • Collaborate with creative team to develop digital marketing strategies and ideas and clear messaging through multiple tactics over multiple timelines, to achieve campaign goals
  • Drive month-to-month content and optimization plans for clients
  • Answer key questions such as how brands are communicated and experienced through digital interactions, and how digital interactions fit into broader customer experiences
  • Ensure a strategic focus throughout the entire lifecycle of projects
  • Spot digital trends, see the digital future and understand consumer behaviour, matching these with brand desires to create beneficial opportunities and solutions
  • Continually research new developments in the online industry from the point of view of technological advancement and innovative executions and develop agency POVs that inspire actionable strategies
  • Identify and grow new digital work opportunities with both existing and prospective clients
  • Stay apprised of clients’ products, services and marketing developments as well as industry and competitor changes and proactively provide the best service for each client
  • Develop and advise strategies that drive client business performance, including e-commerce and omni-channel
  • Create inspirational presentations on Digital that demonstrate smart thinking and strategic insight
