You can turn a phrase on a dime. In fact, you've done doughnuts in parking lots with a lot of them. You've mastered your craft, written TV, radio, print, digital, the works, because you have been a copywriter for 3 - 5 years. So you know what you're doing when you're asked to solve challenging briefs. You come up with brilliantly elegant solutions to messy problems and present them with charm and Jackie O-style grace. You've written your way out of many jams, made clients stand up, slow-clap and say, "Wow. Just. Wow." Maybe you've received a few awards along the way for your sleepless nights. Don't feel bad if you haven't won a Cannes Lion or a One Show Pencil. They're hard to get, but that would be great too. But if you've won any of these awards, you're not an egomaniac who's going to drive everybody crazy, because you're an awesome person to have Thai food with late at night when we're working on a pitch or whatever.
