Business Development Manager full-time
The Business Development Manager, Fleet Outsourcing Services (BDM) is responsible for prospecting and developing new business opportunities for Canada Cartage’s fleet outsourcing division. Working with an established database of prospects, the BDM will develop and execute a business plan to generate first appointments and then progress qualified opportunities through the needs assessment, proposal, contract negotiation, and on-boarding stages of the sale.
The BDM is supported by:
Canada Cartage’s industry-leading brand recognition in fleet outsourcing services;
sales support from experienced, senior-level business development professionals who will assist in opportunities;
Teleprospecting Partner - Xerox Business Services
progressive marketing campaigns to increase awareness of the fleet outsourcing model;
a recently launched CRM platform; and,
on-boarding and new business implementation teams who will ensure the success of new customer start-ups.
Responsibilities:
Territory Development and Action Plans
Prospecting for New Opportunities for Canada Cartage Fleet Outsourcing Services
Leverage Marketing Campaigns and Teleprospecting Partner (Xerox Business Services)
Internal Collaboration With Operations, Pricing, Solutions, Legal and Business Implementation Teams
Support Rate Increases & Account Management with Account Base
Collaborate With Other Specialized Sales Teams
Desired Experience and Skills:
7 – 10 years’ of marketing or business development experience in the transportation or business services outsourcing industries with progressive, market-leading organizations
Experience in selling complex business solutions to senior level decision makers
Experience with the project management of selling complex solutions both internally and externally
