Job Purpose

The role of the chosen candidate will be to lead the brand in interacting with all members of the Xolair team, particularly the Sales Force, Medical, Medical Education (Med Com), and Training as well as represent Novartis with important customers, payers and opinion leaders.

Major Accountabilities

Develop a product business plan that fully exploits the brand potential in line with Novartis processes and corporate strategy.
Anticipate future trends in disease management and market environment which are likely to impact the performance and potential of the brand.
Monitor and control brand performance and budgets and adjust plans accordingly.
Communicate effectively within the organization to ensure the achievement of brand objectives.
Work with departments such as Medical, Reimbursement and Public Affairs, MedCom and Finance to ensure optimal execution of brand strategy.
Develop and implement the cycle promotional tools with field force, analyse feedback and adjust tactical tools as needed.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers to support current and future business activities.
Assume responsibility for all cycle meetings presentations and content.

Work with 3rd party supplier in the maintenance and improvement of the Patient Support Program

Education:
University degree (business and/or health sciences).

Experience/Skills:
Minimum of 3-5 years in Pharmaceutical Sales or Marketing.
Previous Brand Management experience a strong asset
Ability to act as a team leader as well as demonstrate enthusiasm, team spirit and self-motivation.
Strong Knowledge of the Asthma market and/or related area of expertise is an asset.
Ability to generate new concepts and ideas which improve understanding of a situation and/or create competitive advantage.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Superior oral and written communication skills.
Biligualism : English and French
