Description :

  • Works closely with Customer Marketing Manager and Customer Teams to develop promotion objectives, strategies, and programs consistent with overall brand marketing objectives,
  • Employs Customer Data when developing promotional strategies,
  • Develops and maintains strong partnerships with external partners and vendors,
  • Coordinates and manages approvals supporting all promotional aspects,
  • Ensures accurate and timely communications of budgets and project status to Customer Marketing Manager,
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with all cross functional teams,
  • Helps build a strong pipeline of new promotional ideas in line with brand marketing and customer objectives,
  • Responsible for flawless execution of promotional activity and all support elements (could include package design, sales materials and media development),
  • Conducts ongoing competitive analysis, evaluation, and reporting,
  • Provides/presents data and planning implications on competitive promotion activity,
  • Develops partnerships with U.S. counterparts.

Skills and qualifications:

  • A post secondary university degree/diploma in a related field,
  • 1-2 years of experience, preferably in Promotion Marketing, Advertising, Promotion agency, Shopper Marketing and/or Sales,
  • Solid understanding of the role of Customer Marketing, as well as the consumer packaged goods industry,
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to anticipate potential issues, along with a keen sense for attention to detail,
  • An ideas leader. Demonstrates strength in developing new, innovative ideas and solutions,
  • Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to articulate concepts via verbal and written communications,
  • Regular business travel as necessary,
  • Bilingualism - verbal and written.
