Description :
- Works closely with Customer Marketing Manager and Customer Teams to develop promotion objectives, strategies, and programs consistent with overall brand marketing objectives,
- Employs Customer Data when developing promotional strategies,
- Develops and maintains strong partnerships with external partners and vendors,
- Coordinates and manages approvals supporting all promotional aspects,
- Ensures accurate and timely communications of budgets and project status to Customer Marketing Manager,
- Develops and maintains strong working relationships with all cross functional teams,
- Helps build a strong pipeline of new promotional ideas in line with brand marketing and customer objectives,
- Responsible for flawless execution of promotional activity and all support elements (could include package design, sales materials and media development),
- Conducts ongoing competitive analysis, evaluation, and reporting,
- Provides/presents data and planning implications on competitive promotion activity,
- Develops partnerships with U.S. counterparts.
Skills and qualifications:
- A post secondary university degree/diploma in a related field,
- 1-2 years of experience, preferably in Promotion Marketing, Advertising, Promotion agency, Shopper Marketing and/or Sales,
- Solid understanding of the role of Customer Marketing, as well as the consumer packaged goods industry,
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to anticipate potential issues, along with a keen sense for attention to detail,
- An ideas leader. Demonstrates strength in developing new, innovative ideas and solutions,
- Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to articulate concepts via verbal and written communications,
- Regular business travel as necessary,
- Bilingualism - verbal and written.
