Apparel Specification Technician full-time

FXR, a global leader in snowmobile and motocross apparel and protective equipment is seeking apparel specifications specialist to be based out of our head office in Oak Bluff, MB.

Essential qualifications of this role:

• Ability to prepare complete, detailed and accurate specifications for various types of apparel

• Familiar with textiles, construction techniques, garment measurements, grading charts

• Well organized and self motivated with ability to keep on schedule and complete projects in a timely manner

• Work well with designers and product developers to develop a complete understanding of product direction and objectives

• Deliver creative solutions to assist in achieving team or corporate goals and objectives

Education and Experience:

• Degree, certificate or diploma in Clothing, Design or related program

• Strong computer skills including working knowledge of FreeHand and Illustrator

• 2-3 years related apparel industry experience

• Knowledge of power sports a big plus
