Viceroy Houses Ltd. is the reinvented Viceroy Homes which had been building since 1955. Viceroy started as a recreational home builder but now we build everything imaginable from boat, coach or float homes, estates, city homes or even multi-family. We design, engineer and manufacture panelized and pre-cut homes. Our clients will either pick from our roster of designs or we can design a completely custom-built home for them. We’ve also recently relaunched a construction division in select markets which means that we can provide complete turnkey solutions. With state of the art manufacturing facilities in both Eastern and Western Canada, Viceroy ships home packages to clients throughout North America and around the world. We currently have three sales centres and a dealer network with expansion plans in place.

Our company is looking to grow our sales team to bring our full line of services to the market. We have dedicated in-house services, including a sales/support team, millwork specialists, and a drafting and engineering division. We manufacture trusses, wall panels, precision-end trimmed EWP floor systems, windows, cabinets, and much more.

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Sales Associate to manage relationships between accounts and the company. This role will sell and service established accounts and prospect new customers to increase overall sales.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell our full line of products and services to consumers, B2B, and local builders
  • Build relationships with customers and vendors
  • Grow sales profitably to achieve yearly sales goals
  • Retain existing accounts and increase opportunities with existing customers
  • Prepare, generate and follow up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders or determine reason for loss of order
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback
  • Review open customer order reports and take action on open items, specifically those that may be at risk in meeting the customer’s promised delivery date
  • Share market and competitor information with all applicable channels within the organization
  • Establish relationships and working partnerships
  • Partner with customers, vendors, credit, and A/R to quickly resolve customer service issues
  • Enter all pertinent information into CRM

Requirements

  • 5 years of sales experience in the custom home and building industry preferred
  • Proven ability to develop new accounts/customers
  • Ability to prospect and market concepts to existing and new customers
  • Nature of work requires increasing independence, receiving guidance only on unusually complex problems or issues
  • Attention to detail and ability to interpret complex information
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and influencing skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to read architectural drawings or blueprints an asset
  • Fluency in Mandarin an asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software

Job Details

  • Schedule: Full-time Monday to Friday flexible hours
  • Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Salary will be determined upon candidate experience
