We are looking for sales professionals to build and evangelize FreshBooks to the accounting community.

Your responsibilities:

Drive your funnel

  • Process and maintain inbound leads generated from marketing efforts, our customers, and web properties
  • Conduct webinars in order to educate accountant professionals and position FreshBooks as the ideal solution for small business owners
  • Close your leads and convert accountants to the FreshBooks Accountant Network
  • Work funnel by making approx. 30+ calls a day

Influence your client base

Maintain contact with accountants in order to:

  • Encourage recommendation behavior
  • Ascertain FreshBooks penetration within their practice
  • Be prepared to assist accountants with their client’s FreshBooks decision

Be a great FreshBooks citizen and a solid teammate

  • Enthusiastically live the FreshBooks values everyday
  • Celebrate the contributions of everyone in our organization
  • In addition to having personal drive, be a good team player that easily gets along easily with others
  • Provide backup to your teammates and the owners that they support
  • Provide business intelligence to the product management and marketing teams
  • Be prepared to lend a hand when calls for assistance come from the customer support team

Other responsibilities

  • Occasional travel to tradeshows and other live events
  • Participate in special projects as assigned

Your Experience & Skills

  • 2 – 5 years of proven B2B or B2C sales
  • A strong sense of ownership coupled with great adaptability
  • Ability to consistently find ways to meet and surpass your goals
  • Comfortable “selling what you have”, rather than “looking for excuses”
  • Adept at adjusting “on the fly” in order to meet customer requirements
  • Active listener
  • Ability to empathize
  • Great verbal and written communication skills individually and to a group

Nice to haves

  • Worked with accountants, bookkeepers or other financial professionals
  • Drove an indirect channel program
  • Worked within a SaaS organization
  • Used for your funnel management activities
  • Conducted webinars
  • Trained in a popular selling system (e.g. SPIN, PSS, TSM, …)
