The Account Executive role is part of a core account services team of 5 who are responsible for a major financial institution client.  This is a key piece of our business and we need a passionate, detail-focused and laser sharp account service person who wants to grow in their role.  There's lots of room for development and increasing accountability on this team for the right person.

Key responsibilities:

• Assists with tactical activities and planning on specific projects
• Develops internal briefing documents for specified projects
• Manages day-to-day project execution through Creative, Studio. and Production
• Participates in the creative development of projects
• Reviews all creative/production material at every stage
• Proofreads English & French material at all stages of projects
• Attends all status meetings and handles some client interaction
• Monitors schedules and advises project team of any delays or changes
• Acts as client contact on daily management of projects and correspondence
• Writes contact reports (or other documentation) within 24 hours of meetings or phone discussions and circulates to various teams
• Builds a professional relationship with client
• Ensures all client requests are met in a timely and service-oriented manner
• Assists in soliciting the client’s perspective on key measures of success
• Manages estimates/budgets from preparation to client approval with management guidance and approval
• Reviews weekly efficiency reports by dockets and reports any discrepancies
• Attends monthly meeting with Finance to review all dockets
• Understands financial terminology & definitions
• Works closely with the entire team

This job requires an individual who:

• has at least 2-3 years of agency/marketing services experience in direct mail, print and email deployment, preferably on an anchor account with multiple projects
• has a post-secondary degree/diploma (preference for Marketing focus)
• is driving, energetic and goal-oriented
• has a sense of urgency to get things done
• works well under pressure and deadlines
• is logical, work-oriented, and analytical
• can think through a problem and assess possible solutions
• understands the rules/processes but knows when to show initiative
• has a passion for marketing
• has demonstrated client relationship skills
• is proficient in all MS Office programs
