Learning Resource Services Department

The Learning Resource Services Department is looking for a Media Developer – Multimedia to join the Teaching and Learning Enhancement unit as the College is currently transitioning to a new learning management system (Desire 2 Learn) and requires support to aide in this transition.  This is an opportunity to work on all types of web-application, software and media development.  You will create and edit web pages, prepare learning objects (using various types of code such as HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3), assist with the creation of reports, desktop publishing, photo and image creation, electronic presentations and other activities.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Related post-secondary degree or diploma or a combination of equivalent education and work experience
• 2 years’ experience in a team environment
• Intermediate/advanced level training or experience in: HTML5, CSS, Adobe CS6 and MS Office Suite
• Experience in an education setting would be an asset

SALARY: $43,524 to $54,828 per year

Note: This is a full time Temporary position, with an expected end date of June 30, 2014
