Graphic Designer full-time

SFU Continuing Studies is seeking a talented graphic designer. Working in close partnership with other members of the marketing team, the Graphic Designer will develop a large variety of marketing materials, including catalogues, brochures, flyers, advertisements, posters, signs, newsletters and reports.

The successful candidate will have at least two years of post-secondary training in a Graphic Design program at a recognized College or Art School and at least three years of experience in designing a wide variety of marketing materials. Your strong aesthetic sensitivity is combined with technical expertise in Adobe Creative Suite 4 or 5 (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat). You have a solid understanding of branding principles and can apply your creativity to generating original ideas within the parameters of brand objectives.

You have excellent time management skills and can juggle several projects at once, meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment. Your strong interpersonal skills are combined with the ability to build and foster relationships and work collaboratively as an effective team player.
