Digital Engagement Coordinator, Consumer Marketing

The Digital Engagement Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining Super Channel’s digital marketing strategies. Possessing digital marketing and communication skills, the Digital Engagement Coordinator is responsible for applying best practices in the timely creation and maintenance of digital content that supports the departmental goal of growing Super Channel’s brand exposure.

Areas of Responsibility

Strategy & Content

  • Work closely with the Consumer Marketing team to collaboratively plan and develop digital & social media campaigns to promote Super Channel, and engage and enhance the social media experience on a continuous basis
  • Creation of content and ability to work with designers to create engaging and interactive assets to support campaigns
  • Develop and maintain content calendars for multiple social media profiles

Digital & Social Media

  • Utilization of social media and its various platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube
  • Execution and maintenance of campaigns across multiple social media profiles
  • Research and implement ways to amplify engagement and user generated content.
  • Regularly track, summarize and report using analytic tools such as Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Gleam and Facebook Insights;
  • Manage customer experiences and inquiries through various interfaces

Desired Qualifications

  • One to three years experience of related experience
  • An educated communicator with a diploma or degree in communications, digital media or equivalent
  • Familiarity, knowledge and experience with social media platforms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, basic photo editing and video editing software. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Knowledge of Zen Desk, Hootsuite, Gleam, Google Analytics
  • Strong customer service orientation, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Creative self starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment with tight deadlines
  • Previous broadcast/entertainment experience an asset
