We are looking for a versatile design director to join our iOS development team. Our focus is apps, but we also create or oversee the creation of related websites, web applications, online databases, and interfaces.

 

Fission Media is a dynamic, boutique design company with a focus on mobile apps , user experience design and the next wave of interactive eBooks for the iPad. Our flagship app, Back in Black, remains the number 1 paid finance app in Canada after its launch seven months ago.

 

As design director, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing the development of a variety of mobile software and web products. Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a visual-design related discipline
- Portfolio of smart, beautiful, functional designs created for real clients
- Several years professional experience in a digital/interactive agency setting
- Experience with software development, in particular iOS app development
