Purpose

The purpose of the marketing specialist is to implement promotional and advertising campaigns that generate qualified leads for Questrade.

Job Summary

Manage multiple marketing campaigns consisting of online banner ads, print ads, SEM text ads, social media and email marketing to support new account acquisition, lead generation, and client growth and retention for Questrade.

The marketing specialist will work closely with other members of the Questrade marketing department, as well as subject matter experts, LOB leads/owners, sales, finance, and the Questrade technology group (QTG) to ensure successful implementation of all assigned projects.

Job Responsibilities

    Develop marketing briefs and integrated communication plans
    Implement advertising and promotional campaigns to ensure projects are executed on time and on budget.
    Traffic approvals with all stakeholders to ensure compliance with communication policies, procedures, brand standards, and industry regulations
    Work closely with copywriters, graphic designers and developers to develop creative campaigns.
    Manage campaign and project execution with external agencies, vendors, and cross-functional departments.
    Schedule campaign and related communication element deployments with marketing program supervisor.
    Perform ongoing industry and competitive analysis
    Track and process purchase orders and marketing invoices
    Develop specifications and obtain quotes for print production.
    Handle any special projects as assigned by senior management.
    Evaluate campaigns and programs using specified metrics, objectives, and reporting.

Qualifications

Must Have:

    3+ years of marketing and project management experience, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency.
    Bachelor’s degree/diploma in marketing/communications
    Strong attention to detail, administrative and organizational skills
    Excellent communication skills
    Ability to prioritize, multi-task and perform in a deadline oriented environment
    Show initiative and bring forward new ideas
    Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple tasks with a variety of clients and team members

Nice to Have:

    Brokerage or financial services experience
    A keen interest and Knowledge of the markets
    Proficient in French, Mandarin or Cantonese
    CSC
